Dear Janet,
I am so thankful that you were brought into this House of Love. All of us at the Ronald McDonald House of Portland are so moved by all of the special work you and Karen Carman have done for us and want to take a moment to thank you.
You have turned our guest rooms into Vintage Western getaways, Rolling Farmland Hillsides, Cool Coca-Cola Bear Icelands and so much more. Our kids love your animated creatures, our parents love your color and vibrancy, the staff is in utter awe at your creativity. I find myself searching for more for you to do as soon as you get close to finishing a job! You have been a part of our house now for a few years and I know that you always will be. You have made your mark in countless ways and your presence is honored by all.
Thank you for helping us make our House a Home. We really couldn't do it without you.
Very Truly Yours,

Janet MacGregor and Karen Carman created a charming, whimsical, imaginative, lovely mural for our library's children's room. I am amazed by their creativity. They transformed the room into an appealing environment and years later I am still getting positive comments about their work. Janet and Karen were a delight to work with. They are enthusiastic artists, full of unique ideas. At the same time, they willingly worked with me and incorporated whatever concepts I wanted to include. I cannot possibly recommend Janet and Karen highly enough.

I've been asked to write a testimonial of my experience with Janet MacGregor and I am very pleased to comply.
Janet is not only a truly gifted artist but a wonderful communicator and translator!
I had a basic idea of what I wanted but really didn't know how to turn that into a final image. Well, I shouldn't have worried because Janet knew how to get me there.
She encouraged me to talk about my ideas, brought me tons of reference material to help me 'visualize'- it was a totally collaborative process & PAIN FREE.
It's been years since she finished & I STILL enjoy the work myself & am tickled when each new guest inquires about the work.
I'm happy to talk to anyone thinking about delving into adding a new dimension on their walls!

I recently had the privilege of redecorating a room at the East Ronald
McDonald House here in Portland. With a donation of $5000 from Coca Cola,
I designed a room using the Coca Cola polar bears as the focus of the
room. Janet and her painting partner, Karen Carman, designed and painted
the most amazing mural featuring a polar bear family. The room is a
favorite of many guests staying at the House. Both Janet and Karen are
amazing to work with and the entire project was fun from start to finish.
