Murals by Janet

Janet MacGregor was born in Seattle and has lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She has always been interested in the visual arts, and graduated with a BA in studio art from California State University, Stanislaus. After college, she worked in commercial signage, display, design and production for over fifteen years. After becoming a mom in 1998 she decided to combine her years of experience in graphic arts with her love of studio and fine art, and started a small mural painting business.

 

"The greatest joy of mural painting is being able to express each client's personal vision through my art. Each completed project is a visual realization of something previously only dreamed of, and the work really becomes a part of their home and their life."

 

Janet is very happy to make her home in Vancouver, Washington with her two loves - her daughter and her husband, surrounded by an assortment of dogs, cats and goldfish. Her work can be seen in and around the Portland/Vancouver area, and beyond...
